This follows the granting of Outline planning permission (which establishes the principle of development) in April 2025 – the planning reference number for the Outline planning application is 24/00762/OUT.
The site is located off Laindon Road, with new pedestrian and cycle links providing a connection through to Frithwood Lane. The development includes a number of additional benefits to enhance the local area including significant green open space and play areas as well as supporting the need for further housing in Basildon.
Countryside will be submitting the application shortly and is expected to be validated in early 2026. Our website will be updated once the planning reference number is available.
